With a wafer-thin tabletop and high-quality stainless steel runners, LeedLine coffee tables combine Scandinavian lightness with puristic Bauhaus style. This visual phenomenon can be attributed to the substructure of the tabletop, which is slightly offset inwards to elegantly conceal it. Thanks to the clean lines and finely brushed surface of the metal runners, the table is lent an extremely stylish touch. The fact that the LeedLine is a designer table created and handcrafted in Germany is revealed by the numerous details of its high-quality finish. The nobly chamfered edges and softly butted corners of the tabletop speak for maximum precision. In order to create high-quality tables that are both elegant and stable, the German-Norwegian designer relies on an extremely meticulous selection of materials. True to his high standards, a material combination of premium quality was chosen for the tabletop: A wafer-thin HPL top made of pressed wood fibres paired with a substructure of white birch plywood. The top layer, just 8 mm thick, scores with incomparable stability and a flexible choice of colours. These strengths derive from the material's original use in the construction of premium exterior façades and are ideally suited for the production of high-quality coffee tables. The two layers of wood are carefully handcrafted to create a fine table top. The classy bevel of the table edges and the carefully butted corners reflect the precise, German craftsmanship. The black border of the graceful tabletop is created by the natural wood fibre of the HPL material and lends the designer coffee tables an additional modern touch.
